I have always wanted to start my own business selling Crafts that I have made. My sister does direct sales at craft fairs and other events and has been telling me I should come and sell my homemade stuff too.
In Dec 2012 my 6 year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Our lives were turned upside down! I immediately thought that if I ever did sell my crocheting, a portion of the profits would go towards Diabetes research to find a cure. I found a pattern for an awareness ribbon pin and customized it to Type 1 Diabetes and the rest is history! If you know or love someone with Diabetes, show your support too, we need a cure!
